WHERE IS THE CUT LOCATED?

The Cut is located at 177 Main Street in Gloucester, MA. We are just 45 minutes North of Boston, MA.

WHERE CAN I PARK?

The Cut does not have a parking lot but there are several adjacent parking options as well as nearby MBTA Train Stop.

  • 65 Rogers St, Gloucester, MA (IC42 Lot) - largest public lot in Gloucester is directly across the street from the rear of our building.
  • 24 Harbor Loop, Gloucester, MA (Cape Ann Chamber Commerce Lot) - large public parking lot, adjacent to rear of our building
  • Public street parking is available on Main St. (front of building), Rogers St (rear of building) and streets surrounding The Cut - Gloucester does not have permitted street parking
  • The Cut is easily accessible by public transportation on the MBTA commuter rail, which connects Cape Ann directly with the greater Boston area and beyond. From Boston’s North Station, take the Newburyport/Rockport line to the Gloucester stop.

WHAT IS YOUR CAPACITY?

The Cut is a 22,000 square foot facility featuring a restaurant with seating for 180, multi-purpose entertainment venue with 500 general admission and 300 seated. We also have rehearsal studios and Bang-A-Song which is a hybrid digital-analog 48-track recording studio.

WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY?

All sales are final. No refunds unless an event is cancelled.

IF A SHOW IS CANCELED, HOW DO I GET A REFUND?

Refunds will be available at the point of purchase. If you purchased your tickets online through our website, your ticket will be refunded automatically.

DO YOU HAVE A COAT CHECK?

Yes. Just ask one of our staff members for location once you arrive.

IF I ATTEND AN EVENT AND BRING MY YOUNG CHILD, DOES HE OR SHE NEED A TICKET?

Everyone attending an event needs a ticket, but we strongly discourage bringing any young children to The Cut unless the event is all ages.

IS THE CUT WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?

Yes.

CAN I BRING A BAG WITH ME?

Small bags and purses are allowed. No oversized bags, purses, duffle bags, or backpacks allowed (anything over 14”H x 14”W x 6”D). All bags may be subjected to search.

AM I ALLOWED TO BRING A CAMERA?

Flash is not allowed, but we do allow phone camera use. No cameras with detachable lenses are allowed. This is subject to change depending on the artist performing.

AM I ALLOWED TO BRING FOOD OR DRINKS WITH ME?

No outside food or drinks are allowed inside The Cut. We do have a full service restaurant and bar for your convenience that will be open during shows.

WILL I BE ALLOWED TO REENTER THE VENUE IF I LEAVE DURING A SHOW?

Yes, you will be braceleted when entering the show but are free to leave the show to use bathrooms or take a break in our lounge and restaurant areas. *There are two bars within the show area.
